All parties require a non-refundable deposit of 50% (or payment in full) to book your slot. We recommend contacting us about your party 2-3 months before your desired date to avoid disappointment; all parties are limited by the availability of our teachers and finished pieces take 5-6 weeks on average before they are ready to collect. Our available ‘party slots’ are Monday or Friday evenings, Tuesday or Thursday mornings and Weekends. For all party enquiries, please contact us.
Adult’s Parties
Our 3 hour hand-building party is perfect for beginners as we will lead you and your guests step-by-step through the process of making a one-of-a-kind mug! You have a choice of either adding 3D elements and painting your mug or (as a shorter variation of the class) making a textured pen pot.
The standard price for this class is £45 per person. This price includes the firing cost of one mug per person.
There is a minimum of 5 people required and a maximum of 10 people. If you would like your party to be held on a weekend there is an additional flat rate fee of £20-40 depending on the size of your group.
If you would like an adventurous pottery party with your friends/family/co-workers then our 2.5 hour throwing party is for you! After an introductory throwing demonstration, you and your guests will have a chance to try throwing on the wheel! At the end of the class each guest can choose their two favourite pieces to fire in a glaze of their choice.
The standard price for this class is £65 per person.
There is a minimum of 4 people required and a maximum of 8 people.
Hand-Building Party
For larger groups (minimum 10 people, maximum potential 20) we can offer a combined 3 hour pottery class. Half of your class time is spent making a hand-built project and the other half having a go at throwing on the wheel. At the end of the party each guest will have the choice of whether to keep and fire their hand-built piece or one thrown piece (if you have managed to throw anything!).
The standard price for this class is £60 per person.
This price includes the firing of one pot (either hand-built or thrown). If you would like your party on a weekend there is an additional flat rate fee of £40-60 depending on the size of your group.
Children’s Parties
We offer children’s parties with a variety of options depending on the age of the children – each party requires a minimum of 5 children. For larger groups of children, we can potentially offer a discount on the below classes. For all party enquiries please contact us.
Due to safeguarding and child welfare children under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. We require a minimum of one adult to every three children to be present and helping their children during the class. We are a working pottery studio and there is a lot of fragile work onsite so all children must be able to behave appropriately in the studio.
